Summer Delight

4:43 AM

Part II from The Tan Base story.
With the development spree everywhere, where I stay and high rise buildings and Concrete Jungles to stray, not all was lost. Amidst that Concrete heartless Jungle, an oasis was neatly tucked, a beautiful Park which had this sole  bench, it was Déjà vu.  I must confess, I have this amazing love for benches right from the days of school where I'd tug myself with a book for hours brewing stories of a happy future. There are days when I think if that was what I wanted to do for my life, succumb to cliché, what happened to the dreams of Travelling, Picking up pebbles along the path of life, Reading from the libraries scattered around the world and getting tangled in an array of beautiful words. Well, it still is alive, it still breathes in me somewhere and that is why I and Jasmin decided to take a walk.

When The Tan Base that offers 100% leather footwear approached me few months ago and I had the pleasure of seeing their newly launched shoes, I knew the brand shares my choice of footwear. Summers are best spent in footwears that are easy for the feet as well for the scorching heat. The slip ons were just the right choice we made. The designs and quality finish are internationally competitive and are ahead of the current collection available in the Indian market. The fit and the comfort of the shoes is something that had been missing when it comes to flats. These pairs are surely a summer delight and we are going to wear them so often this Summer.

  1. I liked each bite of it. Yeah bite. Right from development spree, ur place, concrete jungles to stray. From materialistic to non materialistic, oxymoron. Then the retrospect,
