The Man Company ~ Men's Living Report

It’s no secret that women love men who smell nice. So, if you are one of those men who dresses up sharp but doesn't pay attention to the grooming products you use, chances are you are walking around smelling like lavender putting a damper on your overall persona. There has been a need for brands out there that understand men and cater to their specific needs. The Man Company would appear to provide a solution with their collection of premium grooming and skincare products. They were kind enough to send me a kit of some of their top sellers so I decided to put them to the test.
They say first impression is the last impression and The Man Company scores full points there. Their products come packaged in a handsome wooden box. The copper and silver packaging of the individual products also has a very premium feel to it.

I’ve used these products for over a week and the two standout performers are Moroccan Argan Oil face wash and the Tea tree & Mint body wash. The mint in the body wash leaves you with a light cool feeling and the tea tree is subtle enough to not feel too over powering. Specially in the hot summer climate it’s a great way to cool down after a long day in the hot Indian summers. The face wash was a delight to use as well. It washes away excess oils but doesn’t make your face dry afterwards. My skin feels clearer and though hard to describe, it leaves a light masculine oaky fragrance.
The Coffee Bean and Pachouli shampoo & the Lemon Oil shaving cream are half way decent too. I'm not too too crazy about the way the shampoo smells but it leaves the scalp feeling great. It also aids in  fighting hair fall and damage, if that's something that concerns you. The shaving cream boasts of being loaded with antioxidants and does the job well. It’s got a nice citrus fragrance, smooth on the skin & lathers up pretty well, making shaving a rather enjoyable experience.
The only thing I found to be somewhat of a letdown was the Aloe Vera & Vitamin E hair gel. It could be because I am a bit anal about what I put in my hair or that I have haven’t used hair gel since high school. It gives a little too much shine for my liking and didn't do much to improve hair texture. I would love it if they come out with an option of a pomade or a zero shine moulding clay.

Overall their products make for a great all round grooming experience and what I really like about them is that none of their products are tested on animals. It would be nice to see more brands follow their lead in this respect.

You can check out their full range of products here. For those looking to make a smaller initial investment, I would recommend trying their small starter kit with the tea tree and mint body wash and order the bigger size of whatever products you like best.
Their facebook & blog are quite interesting with content around male humor, grooming, travel, food and  sex & relationships, health & fitness and life hacks.
