"Being a lover is close to being a worker. When the ruby becomes the sunrise, its transparency changes to a daily discipline."  Rumi, Being a Lover.
We know separation so well because we've tasted the union. The reed flute makes music because it has already experienced changing mud and rain and light into sugarcane. Longing becomes more poignant if in the distance you cant tell whether your friend is going away or coming back. The pushing away pulls you in.

I've been going through a writers block since sometime now. I can put together thoughts in my head but not on the paper. And like most of us, I need a muse to be able to form words in black and white. That muse could be a person or an emotion, pain or happiness but lately I've felt none.
We all have that one song or a book that we go back to when the lightning strikes and being a Neruda fan that I am, even that wasn't helping.  That's when I sought Rumi.
"Rumi heals where there was no scar. Neruda cuts where there was no scar. As a reader you can live your life in between"
I found my muse in Rumi. 'Feeling Separation' and 'Being a Lover' brought me out of stagnation. Each word by Rumi flows like it was meant to hit you, hit you hard into thinking and then creating.

And while I was going back and forth into creating this story to heal where there was no scar, I met Shefali from Artsie Ville. Shefali believes in making you her muse and crafting a fusion of fun, bold and sophisticated handcrafted jewelry. She added the right amount of creativity to blend in with what I was trying to create, a celebration within yourself, a muse that you yourself are!
Each handcrafted piece by Artsie Ville comes with a story of how it was brought to life. Designing each piece herself, she finds her muse outside while by the end of this story, I had found one within me.

A lot of travel plans, a lot of concepts that have to be brought to life and a lot of writing, that is what I am looking for in the following months. While i'll be sharing all that with you, for now here's what is keeping me up.
